Information we process

• Account details you provide, including username, email address, phone number where requested, and a password stored as a hash on the server.
• Service and account records: credit balances, credit transfers, orders, payment references where applicable, operation results, timestamps and support correspondence.
• Connected-device information used by device services: model and product identifiers, device identifiers such as CPU ID and serial information where available, firmware information, device tokens and service configuration data.
• Technical and security records: IP addresses, browser user-agent information, requested endpoints, sign-in attempts, application version, application-start and operation events, and diagnostic or error messages.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate accounts, communicate with connected devices, process requested device services, maintain credits and transaction history, provide support, investigate failed operations, prevent abuse and secure the service. Device-service requests may require sending device identifiers, tokens and configuration data to external service-processing providers.

Only connect and service a device you own or are authorized to service. Device-service data can identify a device and should not be posted publicly.

Storage and recipients

Account and service records are stored on the NovusProTool hosting infrastructure. Hosting, security, email and device-service providers process information needed for their respective functions. Support emails are forwarded to the operator's private email inbox using Gmail. Payment providers, where used, process payment information under their own policies. Providers may process information in countries different from yours.

The Windows application stores local session information and diagnostic data in its application-data folders. Session secrets are protected using Windows user-account encryption. Website sign-in uses session cookies. HTTPS protects communication with novusprotool.com; access to administrative records is restricted. These measures do not eliminate every security risk.

Retention and your choices

Account, transaction, operation and security records are retained to operate accounts, reconcile credits, investigate disputes and meet applicable obligations. The current service does not apply one fixed automatic deletion period to all record categories.

You can view account and operation information in your workspace. To request access, correction, account closure or deletion, email support@novusprotool.com from your registered address. We may need to verify your identity. Requests are reviewed against applicable requirements; records needed for security, outstanding transactions, disputes or legal obligations may need to be retained.

You may stop using the application, sign out and disconnect your device. Service-related records already transmitted to the server are not removed by uninstalling the application.

Children and policy changes

NovusProTool is intended for adult device owners and service professionals, rather than children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support. Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised date.
